03/30/10: Another fun discovery - en route back from Bacchus Bistro, we thought we could pick up a bottle of wine at Trader Joe's, but NO! NY liquor laws are unbelievably worse than Massachusetts! Luckily, the folks at TJ's recommended next door - great advice! A cheerful and informative young woman at the tasting counter pointed us toward a few interesting options from South Africa, and a pretty good Pinot from the Hudson river Valley area of NY! A happy stop during a lovely evening in Brooklyn - definitely recommend them for their selection and great attitude. |
