02/26/09: Just over the border from NH and has a great variety of shops to choose from - including local (Kittery Trading Post) and national (Coach, Crate & Barrel, J Crew). I like the fact that I can park and walk to a good number of stores. Also I suggest timing a trip up over lunch time to try the fried clam hut (next to the ben & jerry's hut) just past the trading post. Don't forget though - Maine does have a sales tax, unlike NH. |
