Question Any suggestions for a cat re-adoption group in the Boston area would be much appreciated- we have a lovely 8yo girl kitty who needs a good home! Our allergies are winning! Thanks! Answers

I used to volunteer at a great no-kill shelter in Salisbury, MA called Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society. I have adopted from there as well. They really treat the cats well and have a high adoption rate, even for the older cats.

Hi Theresa, I've always heard really good things about Buddy Dog out in Sudbury. My cousin adopted 2 cats there. He had to sign a document that said if in any event he was no longer able to care for the cat, he promised to bring it back to them. They wanted to make sure that no matter what the cat had a place to go! http://www.buddydoghs.com/
