03/08/09: I had a simple need: charge my iPOD Touch 2nd gen in the car, and play it on my aux port.
This device solved that and more, and it was only $45 on Amazon.
LiquidAux has car charger and dock connector on a cable (works with any size or shape of case), line-out audio to auxillary cable, and a wireless remost to advance, pause, and shuffle tracks on the iPOD. The last part is my favorite, and allows the iPOD and whole device to be stowed in the center console of my Forester 09. Cool!!
