The HEad of School Audrey Newton started the school 25 years ago, her own daughter was one of her first students and is a head teacher at the school. Her husband and sister are also part of the staff of 20 who are dedicated to their work. AVMS is a family oriented school that develops deep relationships with the families of the children who attend there. Apple Valley is an AMI Accredited school and the only AMI accredited school in Massachusetts. This specific Montessori accreditation is difficult to obtain and furthers the school as a superb example of Dr. Montessori's work in action. |
