11/24/08: Google Reader is a tremendous time saver for me. I use it to follow about 35 blogs daily. There are different views that can be used when reviewing messages for a given blog. I personally prefer List View which lists one headline per message. Clicking on a headline expands the message letting me read whatever exists in the feed. Depending upon the blog, this might be the entire blog message.
For messages which you would like to save for later review, there is a "star" feature. You have the option to look at all starred messages as a collection.
There is also the ability to tag messages and share them as well, the latter a feature I have yet to explore.
Related blogs can be grouped into a single collection to be read as if they were all part of the same blog.
A search function lets you search across all subscriptions.
The above should give one a good sense of the great functionality available in this fine reader.
