04/11/08: TextMate is a highly customizable yet easy to text editor for the Mac. It can do much more than I'm using it for, but here's why I like it:
- ability to create project files (think text files opened in tabs, like multiple web pages in a browser) - color-coding of code makes editing XHTML, PHP, and CSS files much easier - easy to preview files in browser of your choice - undo goes waaaay back
