Do your friends share advice during business meetings, lunches, using email, Facebook and Twitter? My friends used to, and some still do. What pains me is that it all goes to waste, scrolls off the wall. Lots of valuable information is lost.
On the other hand, what if any piece of advice exchanged between friends got shared with all their other friends, and saved for future use? We'd all learn a lot, and have a place to come to when needing advice we can trust. That's the idea behind TrustedOnes.
Is TrustedOnes another social network? NO, because it works with your existing friends on social networks, email and mobile devices, ....and YES, because it uses your social connections to give you information from people you know and trust.
This true gem is located on the outskirts of SoHo. It's the kind of place you want- or need- to visit each and every time to go to NY. If you love Calypso, you can find the best deals on the perfect pieces. It's hit or miss so, again, frequent visits are key.
I really thought jeans were just jeans...but this brand of jeans (which my friend recommended and I found on Zappos.com) are amazing. They are very soft, have extra lycra in them so they keep their shape and I don't get that annoying gap at the waist. They claim to have some "technology" that helps flatten the tummy and lift stuff up - not sure about that, but they are quickly becoming my new favorites! Fun thing - there is a sticker on the inside with a cute warning that they aren't responsible..
Such an odd store to find in La Jolla surrounded by expensive boutiques. Has casual tanks and basic camis at $2-$5 along with huge selection of casual graphic tees. Some trendier items as well, all for amazing prices. Worth popping in on your walk around La Jolla Cove.
