If you can ignore the banner advertising (some of it's Microsoft) then this is a pretty good, simple site with great resources for parents. I recently signed up to be a room parent for my daughter's first grade class and am scrambling to find something fun, easy and cheap for the Halloween party. This site had just what I was looking for.
This is a fast, easy, low stress and fun game to play with kids. It teaches them numbers, shapes and colors and can be played in under two minutes (per game, but you'll likely end up playing several rounds). It's also an easy game to take on the road since there aren't any little pieces or set up required.
I hope I get the chance to return to this resort for personal reasons. It was beautiful. My first experience was for a work function but I'd definitely revisit for a vacation. It might actually convert me to a fan of Cape Cod. Until now I haven't really understood the attraction, but this resort my change my mind. The staff was great, accommodations spacious and comfortable. I didn't make it down to the beach but have heard this area of the Cape has amazing beaches.
Finally, a great, reasonable restaurant in North Andover. This restaurant just opened and I hope they stick around. They haven't done much to advertise but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll make it. They got some great connections to the East Coast Grill, the decor is fun and casual and the food was very good. I had the corn chowder (excellent), wetbones and pork. The scallops were also excellent. It's kind of in an odd location, but definitely worth finding.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food. I was with a large group and you never know how those meals will work out, but it was excellent. The service was good and fast. We shared the pizzas and calamari to start followed by salads. I had the Farfalle with wild mushrooms, artichokes, pecorino cheese and truffle oil - GREAT! I sampled the swordfish which was also excellent. An Italian meal isn't complete without cannoli, so I had to have those too. yummy! Not sure how many options there are for di..
My complaint about this movie is that it wasn't anything new. The story of big company doing bad things being covered up by a giant law firm where someone finally gets a conscience has been done. But, I liked Clooney's character, thought the pace, arrangement and flow of the movie was interesting, if at times slow, and the evolution, erosion of Tilda Swinton's character was well done.
This was an easy, affordable and fun outdoor activity we did with the kids. The four of us manage in one canoe and spend almost 3 hours on the water. Plenty of turtles to see and calm, quiet water to enjoy.
FINALLY! I've been looking for a good Mexican restaurant since moving to Boston 7 years ago. I relocated from Northern California so I admit I was spoiled with a plethora of choices, but I didn't think it would be that hard to find a good, authentic Mexican restaurant. This place in Beverly is small, but really good. The margaritas were yummy, the food authentic and the staff very nice. We'll definitely be going back.
