Fresh, fresh, authenic Italian dishes in a cozy and casual room - think white butcher paper table clothes and checked napkins. I love their fresh pastas and their rabbit dish. If I lived in Brooklyn Heights I'd eat here at least once a week. A nice bonus is an affordable wine list. Note: they only take cash.

One of the most unique, setting wise, restaurants in the city. The main dining room is on a barge on the east river, with gorgeous picture windows overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge and all of the boat traffic on the river. While you're right on to water, no fear for any rocking or feelings of movement, it's totally stable. The food is really top notch gourmet and the service is as fantastic as the views. A very romantic, special occasion type spot.

Hands down my favorite NYC pizza - and a lot of people agree with me, which means sometimes waiting in line outside to get a table. Arrive early or late to try to minimize that. The pizzas are so fresh, perfect amount of cheese and toppings (though you don't really need those.) Wash it all down with some great Brooklyn Brewery beers. Yum, yum, yum

Great neighborhood seafood/italian restaurant. Expanded space makes for shorter waits. No bar so remember to BYO!
